Yoga with a purpose

Changing lives on both ends of the leash.

Shelters bring adoptable dogs into a calm, welcoming space where they build confidence and practice the social skills they need to thrive in a home. You get an hour to slow down, breathe — and maybe meet your new best friend.

100%

Shelter & rescue pups

We partner only with local shelters and rescues. Never breeders, never puppy mills.

~20%

Of rescued dogs get returned

Often for behavior or lack of socialization. Every class is real-world practice with people.

Every

Ticket gives back

A portion of every ticket goes to the shelter partner — funding food, medical care, and daily operations.

How a class works

Three poses. Zero experience.

One hour, all levels, built around relaxation — not performance. The puppies set the pace.

Show up, roll out.

Just bring yourself and some water — we supply the mats. Kids 9+ are welcome with a ticketed adult.

Flow, with interruptions.

A gentle flow while rescue pups roam, nap, and climb on whoever looks comfiest. Expect to laugh mid-pose.

Meet the founder

It started with two rescue dogs.

Dixie Winnie

Sue's family dogs, Dixie and Winnie, arrived during pivotal moments in her life — and brought comfort, stability, and joy when it was needed most. They showed her how transformative a rescue connection can be.

In 2025 she founded NamaSitStay to build hands-on partnerships with local shelters: getting adoptable dogs seen, socialized, and loved, while giving people a pressure-free way to meet them.

“In a world where both shelters and mental health are under strain, NamaSitStay brings those two needs together.”
